================= Dropbox for Linux ================= The Dropbox installation package source has been released to the public under the GNU General Public License. This means that even if we don't have installation packages for your Linux distribution of choice, you can still compile a version yourself. The installation packages and source are contained at linux.dropbox.com subdivided divided by distribution. Note: Open directory listing is **intentionally enabled** on linux.dropbox.com. Compatibility =================== The Dropbox installation package will work on the operating systems it's provided for. However, the Dropbox desktop app only officially supports Ubuntu 14.04 or higher, and Fedora 21 or higher. If your device does not meet these requirements, you are still able to use the Dropbox desktop application. However your results may vary. For more details, see: https://www.dropbox.com/help/desktop-web/system-requirements#linux Issues? =================== Please file any issues on our tracker on github. Thank you for your support. https://github.com/dropbox/nautilus-dropbox Want to contribute? =================== As mentioned above, nautilus-dropbox is open-source software. We accept pull requests for it via GitHub. Due to legal requirements, we ask that you sign the Dropbox Contributor License Agreement prior to submission. Don't worry, we'll still credit you in the CONTRIBUTORS file included with every package. :) https://github.com/dropbox/nautilus-dropbox https://opensource.dropbox.com/cla For more about Open Source at Dropbox, check out our featured projects at: https://opensource.dropbox.com/ If you want to develop on the Dropbox platform, check out our API by visiting our developers site: https://www.dropbox.com/developers
